American Apparel
Hello, again

Icons don’t disappear. They evolve.

A printed advertisement for American Apparel includes the message "Hello, again." It features a long message celebrating the company's integrity, values, and a move online, with the website americanapparel.net at the bottom.

American Apparel. Remember them?

Internal struggles, bankruptcy, and a change in ownership left the brand reeling. Past ad campaigns felt out of touch, and scandals swirled. Fans were lost; where did the American Apparel they knew go? Was it gone for good?

With their move online-only, we saw an opportunity for a bold comeback. It was time to reintroduce American Apparel to the world, staying true to its iconic heritage but with a fresh, cheeky twist that captured the brand's signature spirit – sexy, confident, and with a touch of humor.

We called it Hello, again, a nod to both the brand’s most legendary campaign and its own comeback story.

Hello, again

Yep, it's us. Yes, we're still here. We know you've been asking where the hell have we been? The truth? We took a beat to

The good news? American Apparel is stil built on integrity. Still committed to the basic freedoms of fair pay, immigration, health care, love, and self-expression. Still for every human being.

We're still selling tees that don't fall apar in the washing machine. Still doing neutrals, block colors, and fuchsia. Still stocking the lacy and the racy. Still doing the timeless, the iconic, and the blank. And yes... we're still doing the socks. And still sweatshop free.

Oh, there is one change.
We've moved. Online.

Our new address is americanapparel.net

To all our American Apparellers that have stayed the course, we thank you for your patience and your loyalty.
