Mastercard Priceless gigs

We ditched the polish for paper.

MasterCard’s Priceless Music had a legacy of big names but needed a fresh look to reach a Gen-Y crowd. So we ditched the polish for paper.

Partnering with Engine studio and renown paper engineer Benja, we built handcrafted, stop-motion worlds where gigs came alive, tangible storytelling that felt human in a digital age. From Birds of Tokyo to Florence and the Machine, every instrument, every crowd, every pulse was cut, folded, and animated in camera.

The series transformed MasterCard from a sponsor into a curator of one-of-a-kind live moments.

Colorful, cartoon-style illustration of birds flying over a body of water with waterfalls, trees, hot air balloons, and a small boat. Text promotes a music event on May 27, along with TIX and Mastercard logos.
A miniature cityscape with buildings, a Ferris wheel, a crane, and a tower, all in black and white, with a billboard that says 'Another Priceless Gig.' There is a framed photo of a band, a red radio tower, and a train. The scene features signs including 'Melbourne', 'Oktober 5', and promoting exclusive tickets at mastercard.com.au/music. The city is surrounded by water with waves made of shiny black and blue material.
